While sitting alone in a silent prayer chapel, I noticed a delicate, sweet perfume filling the air. Then I saw the large Stargazer Lily in a vase upon the altar. Could the aroma of one single flower really envelop an entire room? I sat and soaked in the sweetness.
The Stargazer Lily is known for its intense fragrance and upward-facing blooms. Perhaps its exquisite scent is due to the lily keeping its petals turned toward heaven — thus bringing forth extraordinary results.
Prayer
Lord, help us to always be facing toward You in every area of life. Make each of us like a fragrant lily, gently filling every corner of the space we occupy with Your sweet beauty, truth, and goodness.
